This is one of the first songs Burt Bacharach and I wrote. Don't know if it's "commercial" or not, but I've always loved it. Very unconventional structure; very Burt. And therefore very hip/beautiful melodically. Another aching Tonio K. good-love-gone-bad-oh-baby lyric, and dude meant it, too. And once again, "Ladies and gentlemen, the great Billy Valentine!" Should anyone actually buy/download this demo, I'll make sure Billy and Burt (he needs the money ... not!) get their fair share of the proceeds.
